Livingston Area Parents of Multiples (LAPOM) is a non-profit organization committed to mutual support and education for parents, guardians and primary caregivers of multiples, and their families. At LAPOM we exchange ideas, provide understanding and friendship with other parents who are aware of the unique experiences of raising twins, triplets or other higher order multiples. We are open to all parents of multiple birth children. We generally meet once a month and offer a “support group” for new parents by giving them an opportunity to share their experiences. Besides providing this valuable exchange of ideas,LAPOM also sponsors clothing, equipment and toy sales ("Mom 2 Mom Sales"). We also host various social functions that include all family members. For more information on membership options for our club, please contact our Membership Chair.
We are centrally located in Livingston County, Michigan. We are north of Ann Arbor, just south of Genesee County, and to the west of Metro Detroit. We serve the surrounding communities including but not limited to Howell, Brighton, South Lyon, Fowlerville, Hartland, Hamburg, Pinckney, and Whitmore Lake.
Whether you are expecting twins, triplets, or more; or if you are already a parent of multiples, please take a look around our site to learn more about our group.
